I have just 4 or 5 days testing OE and i can say its the best WYSIWYM editor of all i have tested so far.
Only a question ..how can i edit a custom template/downloaded template.
For example i have all the files of the template that i have downloaded and i want to start edit that template with OE
Is this possible to be done ?
Need a little help with this

Hi and thank you for your comment,

A site template (model) in openElement is just like a usual project, and can be edited as such. Several things to know:

1) The system of Layers - find the layers in the Project Explorer on the left

2) The Style Skins - this is a bit more complex from the UI point of view, as you don't see style values coming from a skin, you need to open the Styles->Skins tab on the right, you can see or change the current Skin for an element of the body of the page, and modify it with the small green button on the top - or with the very first button of Style Zone: xxxx menu.

Does this information answer your questions?

Good day

Thank You for your replay .

Let me clarify my question more easy.

I have downloaded a free template from web .

I have all files and folders like : Css
             : Images
             : Js
             : index.html

Now is it possible to add all this files to OE and start editing this template with OE.
Or convert all files and folders like a OE project.

Thanks a lot Sir.

So you are speaking about external non-OE templates..

openElement is a code generator, not editor, thus it cannot work with websites not made with it. It cannot import HTML code, templates etc. You can add all by hand using Code Blocks (include scripts etc.), but then you lose advantage of OE system of elements and styles, so you will not be able to do much.
