Can OpenElements be installed on a Mac's “parallels” software.

When it is tried it produces as error which states the following:

"You do not have the necessary Windows Access permissions to modify the project folder.  Please make the necessary changes and try opening the project again."

I know nothing about Macs, but someone who is doing some web work
to help me out is trying to install the software on their Mac.  Trying to
see if there is a solution for their issue.

Thanks

Sorry, OE runs on Windows ONLY.
Obviously it is written with VisualStudio of MS.
And that is not compatible to anything else, and bound to Windows only.
If it would be written with http://https://www.qt.io/" rel="nofollow - QT , it would be a snap to convert it - but it's not.
Anyway, it's a damn good software to create decent websites.
There ist also a pool of existing and proven templates.
