Downloaded OpenElement just yesterday it all works fine EXCEPT - it does not allow me to edit text.
Neither the single or multiple line text functions work.
Is there a way to correct this?

Did you DOUBLE-CLICK inside the field?

First click enables/activates the FIELD, so it may be resized and moved around -
the second click opens that field for editing.

Remark for the team:
when the text field is created (pulled and dropped onto the canva), it should tell 'Double click to enter text'.

Hello Digizar,
I'm thrilled you responded to my question.  (I never use public forums).
Yes, that did it - I needed to double click inside the text box.

I need to redo my webpages for work and I really like Open Element.
I've sampled dozens of apps and for various reasons they
don't work for my situation.
Hopefully, I can proceed and get some work done.

Thank you very much.

Also,  I agree with Digizar's suggestion to give the user a prompt to double click in text box.

Is there a way I can type text or make changes inside the HTML tags?  Not the code itself, just change links or text within the tags?

Maybe, but there is not a big need for it. Someone of the crew might response.
Anyway, even if the tool OE is execellent, it still needs time to be acquainted with it. Best thing is to start with a very small scrap-website. Use and try the objects and -important!- the Styles/CSS. And last-not-least, use Layers. It is also a good start to build your own template from blank scratch; it's just another page, no secrets.
So, if you'd need some tips or some advice, don't hesitate to http://hobbyseiten.org/" rel="nofollow - post a link .
