By the way, is there any language pack folder yet?

If not avaliable yet, I'd like you to create lang folder for english.lang, french.lang file that can open with notepad. So people or I can create the language pack and send xxxx.lang to openElement Team for next releases version.

or English.txt, English.ini that might be more easier.

Best Regards,
Sora

Hi Sora,

Translating to Thai can be done.  We use Globalizer (Translator edition) to translate all the terms.  Beware, there are thousands!  It would be a big project.  If this is something you would like to undertake, we can arrange it.

Let me know.

Chris

Sorry, I've been familiar with files enable to view directly with notepad only.
Also Globalizer is shareware is out of my question.
Translate through deep applications & codes is too far from my intel.

Sample Possible program that I've been able to translated before:
Peazip
Comodo Internet Security
MyBB(forum script)

Circle Dock

Phoxo
System Explorer

They've files that able to open with notepad directly.
Mostly there're .txt, .lang, .ini, lng inside languages folder.

Regards
Sora

Hi! I have read that you would translate in other language. I can give help, translating in italian, but you should give the necessary txt,ini or whatever files they are. I did it also for the avast team (I have been the first translator for Italy) and they were used to send me in html or in doc, or sometime in txt.

Only decide what way (extension) you want to use and send me the files to be translated. I think this can be a positive way to make peoples know the program in many other countries... ;-)

Hi Bravo12!

As I mentioned above, we use .gxl files using Globalizer Translator Edition to edit and build language libraries.  If you would like to take the time to learn that system (fairly straightforward) and build an Italian language library, let us know, and a member of the team will reach out with more information.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

The difficulty with translating OE is that it is growing rapidly and thus any translation needs to be regularly updated, which is a bit difficult to handle at the moment. But we will look into that. Or,  hopefully, some missing translations wouldn't be a problem.

Best wishes
D
