Hello OE people once again! Thank you for such a wonderful product and community where I can post my questions and comments. Thank you to the Admin group for all of your help and DigiZar as well. I do have a new issue I am trying to do with a folder that houses other sub-folders and HTML, XML and PHP files. This particular folder runs an interactive animation when accessed normally on the hard drive by clicking on the html file. I would like to embed this html page and its dependent folders within my current website as an html file animated but from within the current website I am doing. I tried using the iFrame block to link to this file (which is local on my computer) but when it tries to load it, it says it has trouble finding that address. I have no problem though when I link to an external site such as http://www.google.com for instance using iFrame at all. But when I want to access a local file, it just does not find it. I tried putting in the link option: LOCAL then file:///c:/path1/index.html and it still does not find it. Is there a special format one must use to specify a link to a local file on your hard disk rather than http file? Is it /path1/index.html or \path1\index.html? I am sure I am missing something since the error tells me I am doing something wrong. I know that if I create an HTML page within the project, it automatically becomes available as a resource where I can link to without any problem. Can I import an already created HTML page and do the same? Thanks so much in advance for all of the help. Sincerely, Dwight

Depending on the file location, openElement will not publish it by default on your site hosting.
If you create a new folder on your site root directory and republish the whole site it should be publisshed. Since you want to embed a web page in another one, you should use the external page / iframe element to do so.

Thanks so much for your reply Hobby001. I will try this method of creating a new folder inside the root of the website folder and then copy the contents in question there. Re-publish and see what happens. I have a feeling that it will work. Also appreciate your confirming that using the iframe element would be the best way to include another page within a page so to speak. Thank you once again. Sincerely, Dwight

Dear Hobby001: I did create a new folder in openElement in the root directory of the website. I then copied the html files in question to that folder. I now have access to that folder from within the links menu and by specifying simply the \foldername\file.html the link works. Thank you for confirming how to go about doing this Sincerely, Dwight
