I tried to substitute the counter on the site, but after loaded, it gaves me this error
<br /> <b>Warning</b>: fopen(../../Data/WECounter.json): failed to open stream: Permission denied in <b>D:\inetpub\webs\shouboitaliait\WEFiles\Server\WECounter-v22.php</b> on line <b>221</b><br /> can't open file I didn't anything wrong. Simply inserted the counter on home page (not on layer) and loaded the page from the folder_Upload to the domain. Why the dir on the server should not give permission? Hi,
It's neither your nor openElement's fault. On some hostings, uploading does not set enough permissions on files, and there's no "write" access to the file Data/WECounter.json for PHP. You need to access your server via FileZilla, find this file in the Data subfolder, right-click and set all permissions. Good day D

I published the site on Aruba.it and with the zip file that they give (counter.zip), it's working. They say to keep the file counter.txt in dir /public and all others in /root of site...
Now I'll try to do what you said. For now many thanks! [It's almost a miracle to find someone online during saturday evevening...] |

Mhhh... nothing to do. Again
"Error : undefined <br /> <b>Warning</b>: fopen(../../Data/WECounter.json): failed to open stream: Permission denied in <b>D:\inetpub\webs\c-m-tit\WEFiles\Server\WECounter-v22.php</b> on line <b>221</b><br /> can't open file" also if I gave 777 permission to the file. Very strange 'cause on the localhost 8086 made by oE, for checking it with a browser, it works normally. I had to reset the old... I'll try to ask to the ISP why it doesn't allow to open the file, 'cause now should be everything ok. |

Try to set permissions to the parent folder (Data) as well.

Filezilla answer:
"500 SITE command noit understood" "SITE CHMOD 777 DATA" The site is on a windows domain platform. Is it 'cause those attribs are for Unix/Linux? Now I have also another problem: oE is taking back old deleted files... and I don't know how to permanently erase them. In the beginning I have made some file to show ways and colors to apply to the entire site. After chose I deleted all those not necessary files. Now they are coming back. They stay in the dir also if not seen from users, but seen from me in the site's root..... The sitemap.xml reports them too. Why if I deleted them and from the trash too? Did you delete them using the Site Explorer on the left, or did you just delete the files in the project folder?

In BaseLayer I used Site Explorer, but when they come out in the Site_Upload folder I only can delete them from there. So, if I destroy the Site_Upload folder and prepare a new one, they come back again. I think that the file sitemap.xml should be updated everytime a page is closed, but it looks as doesn't work like that...in same time something avoids to delete the unwanted coded path... In effect I found that the one hidden is the code and from that oE re-write the deleted pages. How can it be possible? This is not Wordpress.
