In Windows 7
Copy/Paste from Openelement multi line text to Openoffice fails with: 'requested clipboard format is not available' is there a simple workaround for this problem? For text blocks with more than a few lines it is essential to be able to use the tools available in in various text editors. The ability to move text back and forth is essential. By the way: I already found that I can copy from the source dialog. That is doable but clumsy. Maurice

Hi,
You can try to start by previewing the page (F12) and copying the text from the browser - that should keep most of formatting; then edit in OpenOffice and copy it back into OE editor. Normally OE lets Chromium (the built-in browser) handle the text editing, so we can't do much to fix the copying, unless I'm mistaken. Good day D

To me it works correctly but I use LibreOffice (same as Ooffice)
You have to click 2 times on the text to copy and it will became blue; clicking 1 only time the text will select and copy the entire text-box... ;-) |
