Welcome to the openElement community!

The forum is here to help users get the most out of the software. With that in mind, here are a few guidelines to make this a positive experience for everyone:

1) Be as clear as possible. The best way for the community to help you solve a problem you're having is by providing as much information as possible about what you're trying to achieve, what you've tried doing, what has worked, and what has not. With that information, the community will be better equipped to help you out.

2) Stay on topic. First, please make sure that your question is not already answered in another thread. If it's not, feel free to create a new topic, but be sure to post it in the appropriate section so that others can find it too.  Don't use an existing thread to ask a different, unrelated question. Start a new one so it can get the attention it deserves.

3) Don't Spam. As a web-building community, we understand the need to share our creations with our peers. That's fine, but please refrain from replying just to promote your site or services. Abusers will be suspended could be banned.

4) Keep it civil. We're all friends here. We might get frustrated from time to time, but name-calling and insults are counter-productive to the spirit of community.

5) Don't keep it to yourself. If you've encountered and solved a problem you see in a thread, share your experience with your fellow users. If you've come up with a solution that you think could be useful to many, why not write a tutorial?

6) Say Thank You. If you've benefited from an openElement team member or a fellow user's help, why not take a moment to say "thank you" by clicking the Thanks button on the helpful post.
