Dear all
As a newbie to this openElement I am trying to create a site for use at work. One of the areas that I have created is a page containing an "accordion list" that has a series of text links that point to other pages in the site, all of which have been created. I have created the links, with the correct page being associated with each text element but when I press F12 to test the page, when I hover and click on the shown text links, the on-screen link is being shown as pagex.html#section x, where x is the count of the element within the accordion list - so accordion text entry 1, which is supposed to link to the page1.html page comes up as page1.html#section 1, text entry 2 shows page2.html#section 2 etc. - not what I want obviously (as it fails to load or show the page required) but I cannot find a way of correcting this anomaly. Any suggestions as to how to correct this or, better still, preventing it from being the default in the first place? Many thanks ADB |

Welcome ADB,
Here is a note that I use to sent to new forum users (when I have a chance to do so) Welcome to the openElement
Forum To acquire better openElement knowledge, my
suggestion is that you spend some time
looking at the video tutorial on this YouTube
playlist. In addition, there are other videos on this other
YouTube playlist You will find several user tutorial here In addition to the models available from
openElement’s library you may have a look to those offered by Sensode In addition to OE’s standard elements, some
additional user designed elements are available
here
P.S. It is important that you understand that all
help provided here is given by volunteers. We are not openElement’s staff. We are happy to help when we are available to
provide tips, tricks, and sometimes a few code lines. We appreciate that users
make a serious research and self-study effort. Some of us work in Europe, others around the
world. Consequently, the response time may also depend on time zones. When the requirement is too great, it can be
contracted and the required retribution will pay for the development.
Always take care to open a new subject for
each of your questions

Concerning your question, the accordion menu element creates this annoying #section (n) to each first level link.
It also add something else to second level menu Item It looks strange but it works without problem. It is one of the oldest element and these additions must have been put there for a reason that was important in these old days. It remained there for retro compatibility reasons. By the way OpenElement creates htm files not html.
