Hi Hobby, I had installed that banner but it is not fully compliant. GDPR requires that a) Users are able to opt out of cookies and still use the site (at least partially) b) that a record from the consent is kept. The informative banner is therefore not compliant. GDPR Authorities are starting to apply the law more strictly and I am therefor installing a fully compliant one as the one offered for free by tarteaucitron. The tutorial in the french forum on a free fully compliant cookie banner deals with all the process The original script is 3 years old, but it has been regularly updated (last version, march 2021) Edited by WattJet - Apr 08 2021 at 6:42pm |

Learn more Got it! " Scripts
for these can be obtained for free in several sites like this one websitepolicies[com]/create/cookie-consent-banner Thus
a complete consent management is now required allowing the user to
customize settings AND the publisher to keep record of the consent (for
more info see cookiebot[.]com/en/cookie-banner/ ) The
problem -and reason for this post- is that the available commercial
consent managers are themselves based on a 3rd party incorporating their
cookies to your site and thus getting information on your clients,
visitors etc. So the question are:
