Topic: Adding Images into a Multi-Line Text Element Posted: Nov 27 2020 at 6:58pm |
This might be a very easy question for you to answer, but I have been struggling with it.
My goal is to have text wrap-around some images. I believe that the way to do so was discussed here: Text Wrapping Around Images - Forum openElement However, my struggle is to actually get the image INTO the multi-line text box. When I select a placed image and attempt to drag it into the text box, the image either moves around the outside of the box (left-right-top-bottom), or snaps back. When I tried to move the image in to the text box using the Element Explorer, the results are similar. Can you help me to get an image INTO a text box? Specifics would be appreciated.

Why not to set the image somewhere it is convenient.
And place the MultiLineTextBox(es) close to it. As simple as that. :-) Edited by digizar - Nov 27 2020 at 8:31pm |

Thank you for the very detailed instructions. Your solution worked great. I was going about it the wrong way by first adding the image, then trying to move it into the text box.
Now my next issue... After I placed the image into the multi-line text box, I wanted to go back and change some parameters of the image. However, I could not find the image in Element Explorer. I expanded all of the menus in that multi-line text box, but can't find the image there. When I click on the image itself, although it is highlighted in blue, I can't edit it. I'm sure it's something simple, but could you again assist me? How do I edit the image once it's placed?

Click or double click on the picture once it is selected, just hit the delete button

Thank you for that. The delete worked.
I assume that I am not able to change the properties of the image (like alignment, float, etc) after it's placed. My only option is to delete the image and start over. Correct?
