Describe what you want do do.

Are you talking about a video or sound player?

Do you have the file to play or are you trying to play something that resides on someone else's site?

It always astonishes me, when members try to hide as much as possible required details in their requests.
Ala - something is wrong, give me a response how to fix it - now.

OK I get it... its a player... from Treasures... it has thousands of songs words of encouragement... I think its home made from them... but its freely available via a html text... there a 7 of them... this is one...

<iframe src="http://treasures365.com/ply/plyme.html" name="me" height="383px" width="248px" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

but all I want to do is embed one... in my old NVU.. I just went to the code and pasted it.. on OE u guys must have perfected a better way..

Probably you mean the 'iframe' element ?
Just insert the url of this player - and it should work.
http://treasures365.com/ply/plyme.html

Should they/you not better upgrade to httpS ?

OT: I wish I had that pronounciation

It's up to you, but why would you do that?
Better use an existing (external) element as is.
You would not have the 'obligation' to maintain that code.
And you would not infringe the copyright.

Or do I still misunderstand?

http - just enter it as https, it should work. At least it does it in the browser's URL.

PS:
I'm indeed not a NZ pearl diver LOL

Using the External page / iframe element will allow you to drop it where you want on your OE page.

Just give it the required size: 233px x 370px
