Hi I have a problem. I need OE on Linux Mint. My main computer has Windows, but I can't take it when I want to go somewhere, etc. Therefore, I have a laptop and two systems on it - Windows and Linux Mint, but Windows is extremely slow, due to the age of the laptop, and I won't play optimization. As far as I know, there are no official binaries for Linux. How can I use it because Wine does not start OE? I emphasize - I will not use Virtualization (VirtualBox etc.). Thanks to everyone who brings something to the discussion or help.Best Regards |

OE runs on Windows ONLY.
Because it's written with MS-Visual Studio, and therefore it needs the WindowsSystem RunTimes to execute. I wish it would run on another platform, too.
Probably you can put the project (and OE) on a stick. Edited by digizar - Jul 07 2020 at 4:35pm |

It is a pity, because I have practically no other possibility for everything to work well.
What's interesting on Wikipedia is the OE entry and for several years there is information that soon OE will be available on Linux and MacOS. So when will it be "soon" |
