Just a question.
Since a handful of years I'm working with OE. Excellent tool.
My question now is:
Is the number of elements/items/images in the DataBank possibly limited?
I guess not (unlimited), but just to be sure.
The total amount of webspace it not the matter, I'd have 500 GB space available.
But how much can OE's logic handle?
Probably I need some 5000 - 10.000 pieces/images on my website.

There is no official information on this topic.

Users on the french side mentionned that OE slows down when a lot of pages are in the same folder.

Processes like Rebuild pages and website link map get a lot harder and longer to do.

I would say that the risk rise with the number of pages.

That is ok, and it is understandable.
But as one does a differential upload, it touches just the modified pages. And that ist much faster, than exporting to folder.
Would be nice if there would be a selection to 'export to folder' just the modified pages.
But better not to screw up the OE, just leave it in peace.

What wonders, is that the PC's memory (16 GB seems to be quite sufficient) ist not used about 5 GB during rebuild. No matter how huge the project may be.
