Ok guys: I was able to figure some things out regarding the configuring of my website to be responsive with help from Hobby01 and thanks to him, I have been able to survive openElement! I was going to give up on this software because of the "responsive" issue but figured that this software is so powerful and flexible that I had to find a way. So with information Hobby01 provided and a little bit of determination, I was able to figure out that one must create a "group of elements" first, then size it to the same dimensions as the page (main frame) itself, then place all other objects (images, text, menus) inside this container in their respective order on the page then try and maintain the size of the objects smaller than the whole page so that each object is measured using percentages as the unit and not pixels. After much trial and error, I finally got it. Albeit, some objects do not resize like others, but I would say 90-95% of all objects are resizing properly now. But now I have another issue and would like to know from anyone willing to help me with this never ending quest (thanks to the fact that openElement does not have any documentation) if someone can help me with line spacing. I need to know if there is anyway one can control line spacing with the multi-line text element so that I don't have to place each line of a paragraph separately and manipulate the spacing between the text lines with the margin option. Thanks for your help in this everyone..... and much thanks to Hobby01 for helping me out all the time. Sincerely, Dwight

Dear Hobby01: Thank you, thank you, thank you. You've done it once again! Here is the site, it is not finished yet. It is a simple one as you can see. But I chose to do it in openElement because the upload process to the hosting company is a lot easier and much faster. https://www.johnkdewey.com Regards, deewebdev

Nice job
I dropped on some typos, which might slip through. Some (2) spaces missing: I'm not perfect in English language (German), but should it not be better BEneath instead of UNDERneath?
Just a feeling. Edited by digizar - Dec 08 2019 at 6:08pm |
