Be careful, speakers like Hobby001 are volunteers and not people working for Openelement. Do not forget it. Nothing is free either.

Hello Denise: Thanks for all of your help. I won't bother you anymore. Apparently, one of the OE administrators sent me a message saying that I should be "careful" and that you were just a volunteer. Also, they stated that "nothing is for free." Sadly, I was just about to donate some money to the OE project because I honestly feel this is the best software out there for developing a web page properly. But at the same time, there is plenty of room for improvement and I am sure the software will be improved upon. Now, I will just have to wait because I don't think that type of response and interjection from someone else was proper. You have helped me out of your own volition and gave me honest solutions and I greatly appreciate that. However, the fact that a 3rd party should interrupt our collaboration in such a negative way is totally unacceptable. The administrators at OE should be glad there are people like you on the forum helping people out. Just like anything else, if OE is worried about the money, they should perfect the software first, then sell it at a competitive price. Then all the other website builders will take this package seriously and believe me they will purchase it. I am sure it will sell, but make it more user friendly and perfect it! As long as the software is for free, one cannot demand anything from anyone when using open-source software. Thank God for the forum. But thanks again for all of your help Denise. Sincerely, deewebdev

One last thing, OE needs a complete PDF explaining step by step how to do everything in openElement. "Without documentation, software is not software." |

Unless otherwise specified, my interventions are free.
If for any reason, the request needs too much time to be reasonnable, a fee can be charged after mutual agreement. Edited by Hobby001 - May 09 2019 at 11:54am |

But nothing prevents you from going to the French forum, to recover the different tutorials and to translate them, if you wish. All the help you receive on the forum is only help from volunteers, do not forget it.
