Admin Group: Great to know that it can be done. How can I configure openElement to allow me to edit and keep building the website without the Internet connection? Appreciate your help, thank you. Dee |

There is no configuration to do.
Your site development files are located on your PC. If you don't have an internet connection, you will receive an warning stating that there is no connection The meaning is that you won't have access to ressources such as model library and Guideline but you still can work with the software. Just click on the open icon to open your project and then you will be able to work on it. |

Everything is Preview until you Publish the work.
To Preview in a browser, click the Preview button. If you click the drop down it will allow you to select which browser you want to use for Preview. I like to Preview the site in all browsers prior to publishing, just to make sure they render as expected. And I always publish offline. By doing so I am able to edit my .htm files as well as make duplicate .html files such that links stored on other user's machines still point to the page they're looking for. I then use FTP to upload the pages to the server.

Thanks once again Hobby001: Did what you told me to do. Works like a charm. This is really great software. Sometimes our Internet goes down and this is why I need to be able to work on this offline if necessary. Thanks again Dwight

Great advice and thank you! I will most probably use your technique when we are ready to upload files. Makes sense. Thanks again. Dwight
