How to eliminate .git folder from publishing?

I use GIT as my code management which creates the .git repository folder within my website project.

How can I prevent OE from uploading this directory when I publish my project/site ?

Hi,

You will have to uncheck it every time in the list of files+folders to publish. There's no other way, unfortunately.
