There are blue frames around every image with an applied link.
That frame appears once the image is clicked - and the link ist executed. Normal display never should show these frames, which would be correct. If they are not visible (not clicked), on some printers (brother) even then they are printed. On my printer OKI C5540MFP, they are not printed. FireFox-53 shows the blue frames, and prints them on Brother. But Opera-44 is ok on display, could not test printing. Link to any selected page for example: http://digizar.de/_selections/_besonderes/_besonderes_wahl.htm http://digizar.de/_selections/_farben/farben_schwarz.htm Click on the image (RM-sign). The big image ist being displayed in a second tab. Go back to the original page > you see the blue frame. Same for the second link, where both frames are printed blue, even if not visible on screen. I tried to assing another style, as on this page; http://digizar.de/_selections/_typen/_typen_wahl.htm which carries a style of 5, 6, 6, 4 pixels as Margins and Rounded borders 5, 5, 5, 5 (does not show, why?) and a shadow of xoffset 4 px, color Marroon (does not show, why?) It's derived from standard 'Full shadow' style. But also w/o any style (big X) the blue frames are there. What is my mistake? Does that suffice to explain (and to change) that behaviuor? Or would you like the source? Edited by digizar - Apr 22 2017 at 11:32pm |

I think it is indeed an (important) issue. I will look into overriding this in OE and give the temporary fix code here meanwhile, probably Monday morning.

As usually, I am NOT in a hurry, so take your time.
InternetExplorer-11 (11.0.9600.18638) even shows the blue frames always, and prints them. Opera-44 (as said) does not show blue frames at all. Printing not checked. Safari 5.1.7 does not show blue frames at all. Printing not checked. Vivaldi 1.8.770.56 does not show blue frames at all. Printing not checked. Google Chrome 57.0.2987.98 -64 does not show blue frames at all. Printing not checked. FireFox-53.0 -64 as desribed. Windows-7/64-sp1-upd:april2017 Easiest way to reproduce? Use this link: http://schreibmaschinenmuseum.org/_selections/_farben/farben_schwarz.htm Those addt'l hints may make investigation easier. If you require the complete source, just ask.
