I've just started trying out openElement today. It looks good so far.
However, I can't figure out how to do simple things like fit an image inside a box. None of the options available scales the image to fit inside the box while also retaining proportions. (retaining proportions makes the image too big to fit inside) I figured I'd fiddle with the code and use "object-fit: scale-down", but the source code seems locked and I can't figure out how to edit it. Does this mean I have to create a different web site for every screen resolution, to prevent elements from being too big or small on some computers? |

Hi,
Look well into the Properties of an Image element - you will find the Resizing option and its last value Keep aspect ratio (English titles may differ). After choosing it, set Width to 100%. The image should now take 100% width of its container. The container (ex. Group of elements) you can/should put into "relative" positioning mode (again check Properties), and if you set the Height to "auto", it will adapt to its content (the image height if it's the only element inside the Group) |
