I REALLY like some of the features of the SensWhite template, so I'm trying to use it as the basis for a complete update of my website. Unfortunately, it is not at all easy to use!

Today's really dumb problem:

I have spent over an hour trying to center a multiline text block on a new page.

Specifics:
The title block on the home page is centered horizontally on the page.

I created a new page, totally blank, and copied the title block from the home page to the new page.

When the block appears on the new page, it is on the left side of the page. Text is still centered in the block, but the block is hard against the left margin. No matter what properties I look at, I cannot get that block to center on the new page. Which properties, in which element, direct that text block to center on the main page?

And how do I tell the text block to center on the blank page where I pasted it?

Thanks for any help...

Hi.

It depends on your positioning mode. If it's the default "absolute" positioning, you can size the element then right-click it to select the Centering option you want. If it is in relative mode (when you can't place it anywhere you want, as elements are placed "together" adapting to each other), you should use a small icon that appears above the "line" containing the selected element, to center all within this line.

That works great. I knew it had to be something simple like that.

Thank you!
