Imported fonts don't show up properly when previewed in browser. Is there a solution for this please.

Hi.

Is the problem present after publication online?

Could you please give an example (link, screenshot)? What browsers are concerned?

Good day
D

I have not tried publishing yet. I had just done a preview (F12) inside the software. I will try online and report back. Thanks.

Please post the link after you publish online, and specify which elements to look at in which browsers.

I have published a quick demo where I used an imported font called "Symphony in ABC" it is located at http://www.thepolymerclayshop.co.uk

I am using a version of Google Chrome called Comodo Dragon from www.comodo.com and in this browser it is not working

I have also tried it in IE 11 and it shows up correctly in that.

So It must be something about the settings in Comodo Dragon Browser. Not sure what though.

I have now tried it in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and it is not showing up correctly in both browsers.

It seems there's a problem with your TTF file, here's what Firefox reports:

downloadable font: invalid version tag (font-family: "Symphony in ABC" style:normal weight:normal stretch:normal src index:1)
source: http://www.thepolymerclayshop.co.uk/Files/Fonts/Fonts.css Fonts.css

downloadable font: rejected by sanitizer (font-family: "Symphony in ABC" style:normal weight:normal stretch:normal src index:1)
source: http://www.thepolymerclayshop.co.uk/Files/Fonts/Fonts.css Fonts.css

Thank you. You are correct. I have changed the font and all is working fine. Smile
