After further investigation, I found that OE mailer php code uses an obsolete function named eregi.
Eregi function is obsolete since php 5.3 and was removed from php since 7.0.
Still trying to find a solution. Backwords compatibility does not seems to be a priority for anyone.

I called godaddy. The guy I talked to about the SSL said it was running properly but I regenerated the key anyway.
Same result.
Now I'm having a separate problem right now. You've been helping with that too.

WEB is a strange thing. This event impacted a lot of servers and now it seems to resolve by itself...

Recently I observed a similar effect. I could not use FTP with SSL. After awhile they solved it, but said they could not find any hint in the protocols. Strange things, right. Hell knows.

Sorry to break bad news but I'm still getting the error.
I fixed the 403 error we were working so now I'm back to this problem...
Any work arounds you can think of?
Thanks for your help!

UPDATE:
It works when I use Chrome on my iPhone 6s It works on Internet Explorer on Windows 10! Still nothing when I use Chrome on Windows 10 It works on FireFox too! But it looks to me that the problem is only happening with Chrome on Windows.
Maybe for now I could put up a link that is only visible when your using Chrome that opens FireFox or something.
All ideas welcome!!
Let me know what you think! Thanks
