Hi All,

Hopefully someone will be able to help with this one as i'm at a loss!

When configuring and testing my projects publishing configuration i keep hitting the following error:

unable to reach the address: https://www.****.co.uk/hostGetParam.php
Check the URL entered in the publishing settings.

However openElements can connect to the ftp of the site and successfully transfers the file to the root directory, when i browse to the directory the file is showing.

I am using openElement 1.57 R9 and am hosting my website via windows IIS version 8.5.9600.16384.

Can anyone show some pointers on this and how i can get it resolved?

Many Thanks.
Sam.

You'd need to complete the Preferences completely.
Project ... Preferences ... Publishing ... Configuration

Alternative:
*Export to Folder* - sends the project to file (local on your PC).
And then upload that content with *filezilla* or some other ftp.

Sample
Sure, you take your credentials

Iknow it's not the best answer in the world but if the file is properly located at the site root level the transfer will work even if you have this error message.

Don't ask me why

Heureka!
Do NOT use httpS in the preferences, use simple http only.

That is true.
Sorry, I didn't see (recognize) the IIS. That might require a different setting in the IIS - port, procedure (SSL), active/passive, ...
