    Posted: Apr 21 2019 at 3:42am
Dear Oe:

I tested my site on a live GoDaddy Site, great.

But now I want to continue to keep working offline = OFFLINE!

How do I reset the Export folder to what it was originally where it exported
all my work to a local folder?

Because now it just wants to export to the live website (godaddy) and I don't
want that yet.

How do I tell open element to export to a local folder on my machine?

Thank you.

No Worries, I uninstalled OE and then reinstalled it to a
different folder then copied my old project to another folder and
opened it up from there with the default configurations.

Thanks nonetheless.

Why not just export it to the local machine: LOL
But - some like it hot.

The *.xml will be named according to the
Preferences...Configuration...Server address

You could even transfer (FTP) the complete website from that created local machine output, because all link references are relative (./../..).

If you used the "Publish to WEB" button to upload your site to GoDaddy you have nothing else to do.

When you open your site with openElement you keep on working on your local (on your PC) copy of the site.

In fact the file your_project_name.ope is not copied to the WEB server therefore the published site can't be edited with openElement.

So keep on working with openElement on your local files and republish when satisfied.

Ensure to make back-ups often prior to modify your site

Well well, that is a MUST before you delete any Folder.
