Dear openElement Community: What is the best way to create a contact form for my website. Do I create this separately using HTML or does openElement have the tools to create this from within? Thanks again in advance to all... Sincerely Dwight

OE has a complete element-subdivision 'Form'.
Something should match your requirement. Also, you could consider the Element Library, the 'Packs'. And prepared Templates available. Might cost a somehow small amount, but OE has to live, too. But ... keep in mind the strong regulations inside the European Union (EU) to keep any user details top secret. And to guarantee those secrets. It's not just promising, but it would need a neutral instance to verify those secretcs. Which is a total disaster for small companies. |

Under Elements tab, Form section Create your new form with these elements. Once done, use the email form element to tie them together and send the captured info to a pre-selected email address.

Hello Hobby001: This sounds like a great idea. Could you include the general steps once I have my form made out to use the Email element to tie this whole thing together? Just want to create a simple contact form where the user will enter in their name, phone, email address and comment or question about the website. Thank you so much for your help in advance. Dwight

Dear Hobby001: I have created the form like you suggested. I am including an attached png image so that you can see the form. When I preview/publish this form it looks great and excepts all of my input, however, when I click on the submit button, nothing happens. Can you please help? Sincerely, Dwight
