Hi all, Newbie here!
I have just about completed my first web-page using oE and have things how I want them, BUT, when I do a preview I get a line of code below the bottom of my layout: ; $(["WEFiles/Image/Skin/28d61833.png","WEFiles/Image/Skin/7e93ed35.png"]).preloadImg(); Anyone know what is causing this? Otherwise I am ready to upload. Thanks |

Hi,
If you upload your website somewhere (use Project->Export to folder, then uploadthe result with FileZilla to some temporary sufolder on your hosting server) and give the link, we can check what's wrong. Probably a broken script |

It is because of your Code Block Source:
<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="http://chs03.cookie-script.com/s/48c2dc207bbb2c67b09142f2ad241668.js"></script>You sould change the type of ths block to HTML, as the type JavaScript already wraps your code into <script> and it breaks the HTML structure |

You can see that in the local Browser when you view/inspect the incoming code of that page. Browsers have an option to display that arrived code. And to search for a particular text (Ctrl-F).
But you may not edit that code in the browser. It's a very powerful option, and it may save you many headaches. Well, anyway I can still see that superficial code @ the end of the displayed page. Edited by digizar - Feb 27 2018 at 9:45am |

New front page uploaded and working great, but I am now having trouble with using redirect 301 for a load of old pages redirecting to new versions. As soon as I add the redirect 301's I get a 500 error on the whole site. I should say that the redirects are nothing to with oE (I don't think) unless it is to with using oE's rewrite rule to create the alternative site name:
Any help much appreciated
here is my .htaccess #Protect .htaccess <Files .htaccess> order allow, deny deny from all </Files> redirect 301 /Contact-Us.html https://17d-miniatures.co.uk/store/index.php?route=information/contact It occurs to me that the problem above might also be to do with the fact that my OpenCart store, running in subdirectory, also has an .htaccess - this is it:
ErrorDocument 404 /404.html order allow, deny deny from 202.46. allow from all # 2. In your opencart directory rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess. # For any support issues please visit: http://www.opencart.com Options +FollowSymlinks # Prevent Directoy listing Options -Indexes # Prevent Direct Access to files <FilesMatch "\.(tpl|ini|log)"> Order deny, allow Deny from all </FilesMatch> # SEO URL Settings RewriteEngine On # If your opencart installation does not run on the main web folder make sure you folder it does run in ie. / becomes /shop/ RewriteBase /store/ RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ index.php?route=feed/google_sitemap RewriteRule ^googlebase.xml$ index.php?route=feed/google_base RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !.*\.(ico|gif|jpg|jpeg|png|js|css) RewriteRule ^([^?]*) index.php?_route_=$1 [L,QSA] ### Additional Settings that may need to be enabled for some servers ### Uncomment the commands by removing the # sign in front of it. ### If you get an "Internal Server Error 500" after enabling any of the following settings, restore the # as this means your host doesn't allow that. # 1. If your cart only allows you to add one item at a time, it is possible register_globals is on. This may work to disable it: # php_flag register_globals off # 2. If your cart has magic quotes enabled, This may work to disable it: php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off # 3. Set max upload file size. Most hosts will limit this and not allow it to be overridden but you can try # php_value upload_max_filesize 999M # 4. set max post size. uncomment this line if you have a lot of product options or are getting errors where forms are not saving all fields # php_value post_max_size 999M # 5. set max time script can take. uncomment this line if you have a lot of product options or are getting errors where forms are not saving all fields # php_value max_execution_time 200 # 6. set max time for input to be recieved. Uncomment this line if you have a lot of product options or are getting errors where forms are not saving all fields # php_value max_input_time 200 # 7. disable open_basedir limitations # php_admin_value open_basedir none |

Forget it!
I have sussed the problem - not sure why it causes the problem, but the list of URLs I am redirecting to, some of them had an https pre-fix I removed all the "s" changing them all to http and it all works as expected. Hope this helps someone else at some point. Robin
