I have created a form and used the email form background, and all input areas are coded and labeled.  Also created a resume upload button.  When I click submit, I get the successful message, however the email is not coming to the account I have listed.  Any advice?  Did I do something wrong?  This is for adding a job application to my website. I am running OE Version 1.57.9.  What I am noticing in the script, is there is no action code, and no tag to send to email address.  My understanding was that the email form background function would include the action and send to email code and link to the selected submit button.

Hi,

It does not work by simple <form action="x"> mechanism, it's Javascript/jQuery handling. Anyway, if you receive the Ok message, it means that all is correct until up to the hosting server emailing, and the message is lost either in the server's mailing processing or blocked entirely by the mailbox (did you check Junk folder by the way?) The best way to test is to try another mailbox, preferably GMail.

I did check junk mail.  I actually just figured it out, with the help of my email hosting provider (GoDaddy).  It was a port issue.  Standard port 25 did  not work, I had to use port 80 instead.  Working perfectly now!  Thanks for the reply!
