Hellò. I tried to add a movie but oE asks for particular formats and I don't use anyone of them 'cause I prefere webm for the compression I can use.
Original movies are in mp4 (96 mb) and wmv (6,0 mb +/-). Converted to webm they become 18,6 mb and 2,8 mb.. but someone asked me to show an initial image of the movie so the user understand he/she can push there and see.
Is there any chance to use the webm format with an image preview of the movies? What format included in oE can you suggest me to use for keeping the webm format in that way?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You can always use a Code Block Visual to add your own video code; but the poblem with WEBM is that it's not supported everywhere I believe.

You may -as I did- make a screenshot of the movie/clip/whatsoever.
Insert that as an image element, and then link to the original movie.
VLC can handle WebM-format.

Thanks to all!
I solved the problem trying different formats and I found the best for that site is in mp4. I used the simple html5 code and it works for Firefox and IE / Edge
