I integrated  the social media element that offers G+, Twitter, Facebook, etc. which is great. However, the text displayed  in each link image is in the French language. This is a bit confusing even for some who are bilingual and review the English language dominant web site. I did not see a way to modify in the configure dialog.

I appreciate the origin from French developing sources. I wish there was a bit more effort applied to converting the French text to English for us English language developers, even in the element configure dialogs there remains some French "help" comments.

I cannot use this Social Media element until the language conflict is corrected or i learn how to modify as needed.

Any help is appreciated.  (I have learned to avoid staying at the latest and greatest most recent release because I do not like to beta test in production.)

Thanks much...

DThomas

Hi,

You can edit any custom (downloadable) element using the Element Editor; it needs learning if you want to create your elements, but as for modify texts in an existing element, I think you can manage it rapidly. To open the Editor, use the Create button on the top of the Elements pane.

Also, check whether there are properties that allow to change texts.

DMit

Thx for the quick guidance, however i am not familiar with the OE install and project directory structure and where the elements are stored. I searched many directories where OE is installed and where the project is stored to no avail.

Can you help with some specific instruction as to where they are stored?

much appreciated,

DThomas

You don't need all this normally. Once you have the Social Media element in your project, us the Create button above elements' list to open the Editor. In it, use Open to open the element, modify it and save.
